Everything you need to know about no deposit car rental worldwide

No deposit car rental means you do not need to block a security deposit on your credit or debit card when you pick up the vehicle. Standard car rental requires a deposit of 200-1500 EUR held on your card during the rental period. With no deposit options, this amount is not blocked - your full card limit remains available.
No deposit options are available in most countries we cover, but not on every vehicle. Availability depends on the specific car, rental company and destination. Use the No Deposit filter in the search widget to see available vehicles for your location and dates.
Not necessarily. Some vehicles on our platform can be booked with a debit card or without a credit card. The exact payment requirements for each vehicle are shown on the listing page. The advance booking payment is always made by card online - cash is not accepted upfront.
You will typically need: a valid driving licence held for at least 1 year, a passport or national ID, and a payment card. If your licence uses a non-Latin alphabet (Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese etc.), an International Driving Permit is recommended. Exact requirements are in your booking voucher.
The minimum age varies by country and vehicle type. Most destinations require drivers to be at least 21 years old. Some premium or luxury vehicles require drivers to be 23 or 25. A young driver surcharge may apply for drivers under 25. Exact age requirements are shown on each vehicle listing.
Free cancellation is available on eligible bookings. The cancellation policy for each vehicle is shown on the listing page before you book. Full cancellation terms are confirmed in your booking voucher.
The advance payment is made by card when booking online through our platform. Cash is not accepted for the advance. Any remaining balance, and how it is paid, is set out in your booking voucher. Contact details for the rental company are provided after booking.
For any issues during your rental, contact the rental company directly using the contact details in your booking voucher. Car Rental No Deposit is an intermediary platform - the rental agreement is between you and the local company. For platform-related questions, contact support via [email protected].
Basic third-party liability insurance is included with all vehicles. Additional coverage options such as CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) or excess reduction can typically be added during booking. No deposit and insurance are independent - you can have full insurance with or without a deposit. Check your voucher for full insurance details.
Yes - airport pickup is available in most destinations. Search for your airport location to see available vehicles. Some companies offer counter pickup at the terminal, others arrange delivery to the arrivals area. The exact pickup arrangement is confirmed in your booking voucher.
